How many times have you ever felt down and depressed because you has won weight? Sometimes we´re so unfair with ourselves even though we´re so skinny. We don´t realize that beauty is not about pounds, beauty is not about what the scales says, beauty is not about all that. Beauty is about how comfortable you feel in your own body, beauty is about confidence, about health, beauty is telling to the world: here I am, this is me and I love the way I am.

Tara Lynn knows this. Tara is a plus size model who show us that beauty doesn´t conform to a specific size. She has been featured in V magazine and on the cover and a 20-page editorial in French Elle. Isn´t she absolutely beautiful? Who dares to argue otherwise?

¿Cuántas veces te ha entrado bajón o te has deprimido por haber ganado peso? A veces somos muy injustas con nosotras mismas a pesar de ser delgadas. No nos damos cuenta de que la belleza no depende de los kilos, no depende de lo que diga una báscula, la belleza no depende de todo eso. Belleza es sentirte cómoda en tu propio cuerpo, es confianza, salud, es decirle al mundo: aquí estoy, esta soy yo y me encanta ser como soy.

Tara Lynn lo sabe. Tara es una modelo de tallas grandes que nos muestra que la belleza no se ajusta a un tamaño específico. Ha aparecido en publicaciones como la revista V y en la edición francesa de Elle tanto en la portada como en la editorial de 20 páginas. No es absolutamente preciosa? Quién se atreve a afirmar lo contrario?

White crochet macramé pullover

Spring, a pretty show from nature, beautiful flowers everywhere, birds singing, people talking about the warm days we pass, a nice walk through the woods, a light rain, my thoughts... These pictures represent all that... Time flies, it has been a great year in Washington DC but now it´s time to leave, I can´t believe it´s almost over... I gotta go back home soon but I don´t wanna leave behind this amazing environment and all the people I´ve met. I know that new things are waiting for me, I´m closing a door but I´m opening a new one... Even so it´s a tough time, I hate goodbyes... On the other hand, I´m so excited to see again my family and friends in Spain!!

I got dressed that morning and I decided to wear my new crochet pullover in white, I love it! It´s so comfy and soft... Gotta tell you, this kind of crochet - macramé is a fashion trend this seasson. I bought this one at Urban Outfitter´s ( I´ll miss that store) Well, maybe you can spend more money and get one of these... Have a look at the examples below...

Primavera, un bonito espectáculo de la naturaleza, flores preciosas por todas partes, pájaros cantando, gente hablando de los días calurosos por los que pasamos, un paseo por el bosque, lluvia ligera, mis pensamientos... Estas fotos representan todo eso... El tiempo vuela, ha sido un año increíble en Washington DC pero ahora es hora de marcharse, no me puedo creer que esté a punto de terminar... Tengo que volver a casa pronto pero no quiero dejar atrás todo este entorno y toda la gente que he conocido. Se que cosas nuevas me esperan, cierro una puerta pero abro otra nueva... Aún así es un momento duro, odio las despedidas... Por otra parte, estoy súper emocionada de volver a ver a mi familia y a mis amigos en España!!

Me vestí esa mañana y decidí ponerme mi suéter croché nuevo en blanco, me encanta! Es tan cómodo y suave... Este tipo de croché- macramé es tendencia esta temporada. Yo me lo compré en Urban Outfitter´s ( echaré de menos esa tienda) Pero bueno, quizá tú puedas gastarte más dinero y hacerte con uno de estos... Mira estos ejemplos más abajo...
