Pool parties: what to wear?

Pool parties are a staple of summer fun. Music, drinks, friends and a pool. What else you can ask for? It´s the perfect plan!

Las pool parties son un elemento fundamental de diversión en verano. Música, bebidas, amigos y una piscina. Que más se puede pedir? Es el plan perfecto!

But what to wear to a pool party? Well, it depends if it´s a casual party or not, but basically you´ll choose wearing a suimsuit underneath your clothes, right? I love bikinis, but I rather a one-piece swimsuit or a monokini to attend pool parties. On a personal note, you may feel more comfortable when talking with others if you are wearing a cover-up, as opposed to a leave "nothing to the imagination" bathing suit, don´t you think?

Pero qué ponerse para ir a una pool party? Bueno, depende de si es una fiesta informal o no, pero básicamente elegirás ponerte un traje de baño debajo de la ropa, verdad? Me encantan los bikinis pero prefiero bañadores de una sola pieza o triquinis para este tipo de fiestas. Personalmente opino que te sentirás mucho más cómoda hablando con otros si llevas algo que te cubra un poco más antes que llevar un traje de baño que no deje nada a la imaginación, no crees?

The best pool party I´ve ever been was at MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas 2 months ago. The pool, called Wet Republic, is well known for its famous parties. I attended David Guetta F*** ME I´M FAMOUS party which takes place every Sunday.

This is how people in Las Vegas roll!

La mejor pool party en la que he estado fue hace 2 meses en el hotel MGM en Las Vegas. La piscina, llamada Wet Republic, es muy conocida por sus famosas fiestas. Estuvimos en la fiesta F*** ME I´M FAMOUS de David Guetta celebrada cada Domingo.

Así es como se lo monta la gente en Las Vegas!

Spaces for living

If I close my eyes and I imagine how my dream house would be, I can see something like this. I absolutely love interior design and decoration. I could spend hours flipping through interiorism magazines to get ideas about decorating styles and the contemporany architecture. I don´t even own a house but I´m already taking some notes ...

I know this is a fashion blog but, in my opinion, fashion and decoration are connected. The way you dress tells many things about you, how your house is decorated gives many information as well. It´s all a reflexion of your personality.

So I´m gonna add this new section to my blog called "Spaces for living" where you will see, according to me, stunning furnished homes. It´s time to get inspired with the art of design!!

Si cierro los ojos e imagino como sería la casa de mis sueños, puedo ver algo parecido a esto. Me encanta el diseño de interiores y la decoración. Podría pasarme horas hojeando revistas para coger ideas sobre estilos de decoración y arquitectura contemporánea. Ni siquiera tengo mi propia casa pero ya estoy tomando nota...

Se que este es un blog de moda pero, en mi opinión, la moda y la decoración están relacionados. La forma de vestir dice mucho de ti, como está decorada tu casa también. Es todo un reflejo de tu personalidad.

Así que voy a añadir esta nueva sección a mi blog llamada "Espacios para vivir" en la que verás, según mi opinión, casas con una decoración impresionante. Es hora de inspirarse con el arte del diseño!!
