New Year´s Eve in NYC ( Photo diary)

First of all, Happy New Year everyone!!!

Hope you had so much fun partying on New Year´s Eve. I was in New York, I wanted to hit Times Square so bad, but unfortunatelly we couldn´t make it. We were there at 2 pm but we didn´t want to wait for 10 hours so we decided to leave and going back there later but we never had that chance again. Damn! So maybe another year, who knows...?

What a crazy night! Streets closed, there weren´t available taxis, and a large crowd was all over the place! And I gotta tell you, if you´re planning to go there in a future, keep this in mind: Don´t take a bagpack with you if you wanna go to Times Square, it´s not allowed. Policemen are not gonna let you pass through the check control. We didn´t know that! Since they didn´t let us get in, we had to change our plan quickly. That was my first disappointment of the night... So, we went to Central Park and it was pretty awesome! Fireworks, music, light effects, but it was crowded as well. Fortunately, it wasn´t chilly, at least not like I expected, so I survived with my light dress, tights, leather gloves, a jersey and a coat. And I switched the comfy boots to the stilettos in the taxi in our way to the party.

This is the first time I celebrate New Year´s Eve in the US. The countdown was so excited!!!!! I loved it! It was a new experience for me cuz I´m used to celebrating the end of the year in Spain, with our 12 grapes tradition and sitting in front of the TV while the clock situated in La puerta del Sol in Madrid let us know the last seconds of the year with the sound of a huge bell. We gotta eat a grape in each second and making our wishes at the end, right? Haha, well, here, no grapes, everybody makes the countdown so loud at the same time, the last 10 seconds, and at the end... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! After that, let´s keep the party going in a different spot!  We went to 230-Fifth which is an amazing rooftop.

Me encantó!

Saturday was the day to relaxing and pampering ourselves going shopping and having dinner in a sushi bar...

And I still can´t believe that my friend bought this stunning fringe dress for me! He told me that it was my Christmas gift! You´re amazing!! Did you know that? Thank you so so much!!! I can´t wait to wear it!

My best wishes for the new year and kisses for everyone!
