OUR BEDROOM

 

It took a while but I´m proud to say that finally our bedroom is looking good. When you buy a house and it´s completely empty you have to work hard to make that house become a home and make it cozy and stylish at the same time. The best part to me comes when I look for the details. There´s still a lot of things I have to take care of in our house but I´m getting there. I love decoration so much that I don´t mind spending time on this, I´m so thrilled to do it.

 

Ha llevado lo suyo pero estoy orgullosa de poder decir que por fin nuestra habitación se ve bien. Cuando compras una casa y está completamente vacía, tienes que trabajar duro para comvertir esa casa en un hogar acogedor y elegante al mismo tiempo. Para mi con lo que disfruto más es buscando los detalles. Todavía hay un montón de cosas por hacer en nuestra casa pero estoy en ello. Me gusta tanto la decoración que no me importa dedicar tiempo a ello, estoy encantada haciéndolo.



COUNTRY GIRL FOR A DAY 

After 5 rainy days in a row, the sun finally came back to Maryland. I decided to do something different yesterday, visiting a farm. I´m not a country girl, I love the city way too much, but I also enjoy and appreciate peace time out of the crowd.

 

For this occasion, I chose a country outfit for my visit. White top and jeans combined with brown booties, hat and belt. And of course my brazalets. Since I didn´t plan getting messy, I was ok wearing white. Otherwise, I wouldn´t have wore this color.

 

It was a pretty fun day. I loved getting lost inside the cornfield, seeing farmers doing field work and selling vegetables in trucks, the horses, the cows... I definetely will come back.  

 

Después de 5 días de lluvia seguidos, por fin el sol ha vuelto a Maryland. Ayer decidí hacer algo diferente, visitar una granja. No soy una chica de campo, me gusta demasiado la ciudad, pero también disfruto y aprecio momentos de paz apartada de la multitud.

 

Para esta ocasión elegí un outfit campestre. Camiseta de tirantes y pantalones blancos combinado con botines, sombrero y cinturón marrón. Y por supuesto mis pulseras. Ya que no tenía planeado ensuciarme, no me importó llevar llevar blanco. Si no, nunca habría elegido este color.

 

Fue un día bastante divertido. Me encantó perderme entre los maizales, ver a los granjeros trabajar en el campo y vender las verduras en camionetas, los caballos, las vacas... Seguro que volveré.
