A new day has come...

Good morning!!! Dawn is breaking!! It´s time to get up! This morning everything is working out, it's a sunny day, I feel lots of energy, it smells like fresh coffee and I am very grateful to star a new day and for all I have.

Buenos días!!! Está amaneciendo!! Es hora de lavantarse! Esta mañana todo está funcionando, hace sol, tengo un montón de energía, huele a café recién hecho y estoy agradecida por empezar un nuevo día y por todo lo que tengo.

I´m such an active girl but sometimes I really like being a domestic one as well. So I´m gonna take the morning off to stay at home, listening music, drawing, working with my laptop making new collages and also making a to-do list. I´m so inspired today, therefore I´ve got lots of ideas…

Soy una chica muy activa pero a veces también me gusta ser casera. Asi que me voy a tomar la mañana libre para estar en casa, escuchar música, dibujar, trabajar con mi portátil para hacer nuevos collages y hacer también una lista de quehaceres. Hoy estoy muy inspirada, por lo tanto tengo un montón de ideas…

MY COLLAGES

I couldn't work in new designs lately because my new work and my schedule, but I'm not gonna stop doing it because I love it! So here I leave some of them. In the first one I give you an idea about how to use the same garment in two different situations.

No he podido trabajar en nuevas creaciones por mi nuevo trabajo y mi horario, pero no voy a dejar de hacerlo porque me encanta! Así que aquí os dejo con algunos de ellos. En el primer collage os doy una idea sobre cómo usar una misma prenda en dos situaciones diferentes.

One goal, two fates: Spain's reign and Holland's agony

We are the champions of the world!!!! Yeaaaaaaah!!!! Spain beat Holland on Sunday 11th of July. It was a long wait but the World Cup is ours!!!!!! I watched the game in a spanish bar in Washington with many spanish people who is living here. Everybody was wearing our colours, our flag, our team T-shirts... I don't have any spanish T-shirt so I had to improvise and I made my own outfit-flag, hahaha :)

Somos los campeones del mundo!!!! Síiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! España derrotó a Holanda el Domingo 11 de Julio. Fue una larga espera pero la Copa del Mundo es nuestra!!!!!! Vi el partido en un bar español en Washington con muchos españoles que están viviendo tambien aquí. Todos llevábamos nuestros colores, nuestra bandera, la camiseta de nuestro equipo... No tengo ninguna camiseta de España así que tuve que improvisar y hacerme mi propio conjunto-bandera, jajaja :)

After the game we were in Dupont Cicle celebrating our victory!!! It was crazy!

Después del partido estuvimos en Dupont Cicle celebrando nuestra victoria!!! Fue una locura!

We have celebrated our trump for all over the world because it doesn't matter where we live, spaniards will be always spaniards and we are so proud of it :)

Hemos celebrado nuestro triunfo por todo el mundo porque no importa donde vivamos, los españoles siempre seremos españoles y estamos muy orgullosos de ello :)

That's so true... Who was gonna tell me years ago that I was gonna live in US for one year? Be carefull what you wish for because you just might get it...

Second weekend in the City!! So excited!!! Cannot even describe what I feel when I'm there. I just can say time flights!
Saturday morning, the day starts great! Having for breakfast the most delicious muffin I've ever tried from a bakery that I found on my way and of course my Starbucks american coffee with milk.


Es tan cierto... Quien me iba a decir hace años que iba a vivir en USA durante un año? Ten cuidado con lo que deseas porque puede que lo consigas...

Segundo finde en NY! Ni siquiera puedo describir lo que siento cuando estoy allí. Sólo puedo decir que el tiempo vuela!
Sábado por la mañana, el día empieza genial!! Desayunando la muffin más buena que he probado en mi vida de un horno que encontré por el camino y por supuesto my café con leche de Starbucks.

I was strolling around Soho trying on lots of shoes but I could control myself and I didn't take any, what's happening to me? That's so weird! But I have to save money because I'm going to Cancun on August!!!! Yaaaaaaa!!!!

Estuve paseando por el Soho y allí me probé un montón de zapatos pero me controlé y no me llevé ninguno, qué me pasa? Eso es súper raro en mi... Pero tengo que ahorrar dinero porque me voy a Cancún en Agosto!!!!  Síiiiiiiiiii!!!

Not everything in NY is about going shopping. I also enjoy taking long walks in Central Park and get lost there.

No todo en NY va de ir de compras. También disfruto un montón con los paseos por Central Park y perderme por allí.

There is also a park called Bryan Park which is smaller that Central Park ( it's just one block) but it's really cool as well. "Let's go there to have sushi for lunch today!"

Hay también otro parque llamado Bryant Park mucho más pequeño que Central Park ( sólo ocupa una manzana) pero está genial también. "Vamos hoy allí a comer sushi!"

And of course I really love going out for dinner.

Y por supuesto me encanta salir a cenar por ahí.

And what is new in The City since I was there last time? Well, there are a couple of things I hadn't seen yet. The first one is the new FOREVER 21 megastore in Time Square located at the old former Virgin store. The grand opening was on June 25th. The store has 4 floors and their schedule is crazy, from 8 a.m to 2 a.m.  How cool is that? There is also a shoe salon on the bottom floor.

Y qué hay de nuevo por la ciudad desde la última vez que estuve? Bueno, hay un par de cosas que no había visto aún. La primera es la tienda gigante de FOREVER 21 en Times Square que se encuentra donde estaba antigüa la tienda Virgin. La gran apertura fue el 25 de Junio. La tienda cuenta con 4 pisos y su horario es una locura, desde las 8 de la mañana hasta las 2 de la mañana. En el piso de abajo están los zapatos.

And what else? Take a look to the scultures in Broadway Avenue ! Most of them look gorgeous!!! They were created for diferent designers. Do you guys like them?

Y que más? Echa un vistazo a las esculturas en Broadway Avenue ! La mayoría son preciosas!!! Fueron creadas por diferentes diseñadores. Os gustan?

I wish I was there now but I have to wait until next month to my next visit... In the mind time I'm gonna enjoy DC.
