Wedding photo diary: Looking for my dress in NYC (Day 1)

Looking for a wedding dress isn´t easy, and it´s even harder when you only have 3 days to find it! I´m the kind of person who knows very well what I like and what I don´t, some people think I´m such a picky girl, but to me, I´m just a person who knows very well my tastes and what I have on mind, that´s why I don´t stop until I find it.

Since our wedding had to be planned in a month, I had to hurry up with everything, this includes the dress part. My mom came all the way from Spain to help me with my search. I live close to Washington DC but I went to NYC with her because I know some bridal boutiques and also because it was the excuse to come back to my second city. I had only 3 days to find it, only 3 days to walk the city up and down with a goal: Coming back to DC with my dress.

I knew what kind of wedding dress I wanted. We went to Kleinfeld. This bridal store is well know in NYC for her amazing dresses and aslo for the show on TV called "Say yes to the dress", but let me tell you that I left the store very disappointed. The amazing dresses were those which prises were up to $10,000.

We went also to other promising stores and I tried on some dresses like this one on the picture, but no, it wasn´t what I was looking for. So the first day was such a fun day but I went back to the hotel with no dress. We had only 2 days left...

Fuimos a Kleinfeld.
